you scream, i scream, we all scream for . . .

you scream, i scream, we all scream for SMOOTHIES!

we are all about smoothies. we use one of my favorite kitchen appliances, the ninja, to make our smoothies.  we use our really ripe fruit as our liquid then add frozen fruit . . . that is it.  i hear all about other people adding things like peanut butter and rolled oats.  do you scream smoothies?  if so what do you use?

  1. We LOVE our smoothies especially green smoothies. I always have a BIG bag of frozen strawberries from Costco in the freezer, bananas, plain greek yogurt for protein, spinach or greens, organic milk for liquid, and any fruit I have on hand - apples, blueberries, pineapple.

    Whatever fruit i have that starts getting too ripe, I cut it up and stick it in the freezer because my smoothies are so much better with frozen fruit than ice!

  2. I love my breakfast smoothies too. I use frozen berries, honey Greek yogurt, almond milk, 1/2 banana and protein powder...it's great to take with me in the car in the morning! I love my blend tec
